Back in Brooklyn, we meet Shaun Stewart, CEO of Newlab, a community of experts and innovators applying transformative technology to solve the world’s biggest challenges. Shaun gives us a tour of Newlab HQ in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and provides a glimpse into the companies powering the future of our reality."

Still in Brooklyn, we head over to Brooklyn Bridge Park to meet up with Nova Concepts Founder Kent Lu. Nova Concepts creates visualizations of future projects, concepts and interiors which propels projects forward quickly. Using a variety of mediums including drone photography, virtual reality, green screens, etc. Nova Concepts is able to create sophisticated visual experiences of projects that have yet to be created. Specifically, Kent tells us about the Brooklyn Queens Expressway which is getting old and needs to be repaired. By way of creating a compelling visual story, Kent is able to showcase his dream for this project partnering up with architecture firm BIG - Bjarke Ingles Group to pack a punch.

Last but not least we head to Midtown East to learn about the 15-Minute City with urbanists and zoning specialists, Cindy McLaughlin and Eldad Gothelf. Cindy, Founder and CEO at Envelope.city as well as Eldad who serves as the Director of Zoning for Envelope, are passionate about the idea of the 15 minute city. This is a concept created by scientist Carlos Moreno and made popular by Mayor Ann Hidalgo of Paris. This conversation focuses on what might be possible for New York City if we adopted the concept of the 15 minute city.
